Tutoring

In addition to focusing on our key programs, we are excited to begin providing complimentary SAT tutoring to college-bound ESL students in our program for the school year of 2018-2019, thanks to two (2) grants that we’ve received, from The Jim Moran Foundation and Wells Fargo Community Foundation.

Scholar Career Coaching aims to increase the percentage of degrees earned by both academically at-risk and ESL students.

In partnership with The Princeton Review, we provide 15-hour of SAT prep to students that are enrolled in Scholar Career Coaching mentoring program.

Academically at-risk students in 10th and 11th grade, meets with certified tutors for two hours every other week, for a total of twelve weeks.

Each student receives SAT Fundamentals course books. A large section of the SAT test preparation course will focus on preparing the students to achieve the scores they need to get into the school of their choice.
